Korean Pomeranian Puppies for Sale
Korean Pomeranians have earned a reputation for a compact, round, teddy bear look with plush coats and sweet expressions. Our network includes breeders in South Korea who show every puppy live on video.

What people mean by a Korean Pomeranian
A Korean Pomeranian is a Pomeranian bred in South Korea. It is the same breed as everywhere else, but Korean breeders have become known for a particular style: compact bodies, round heads, short muzzles, small ears and dense, stand-off coats. Light colors such as white, cream and orange are popular, and many puppies show the round look that people describe as teddy bear.
Coats in Korean lines are often notably dense and stand away from the body, which adds to the round outline. That plush coat is lovely to look at and takes commitment to maintain: plan on brushing down to the skin two or three times a week, and expect the coat to look thin during the puppy uglies before the adult coat fills in.
That said, style varies from breeder to breeder and litter to litter. Not every Korean Pom is tiny or round-faced, and plenty of North American breeders produce a similar look. For a side-by-side explanation, read our guide to Korean versus American Pomeranians.
How our Korean breeders are vetted
We keep our requirements simple and checkable. Every breeder in our Korean breeder network must:
- Show puppies on a live WhatsApp video call, not just photos
- Provide vaccination and vet records for each puppy
- Microchip each puppy
- Comply with the import rules of the puppy's destination
Getting a puppy from Korea
A puppy from South Korea travels a long way, so planning matters. How a puppy travels, and when, depends on airline policies, the route, the puppy's age and your country's import requirements, including vaccination timing and, in some destinations, minimum age rules. Those requirements change, and they differ between the United States, Canada and Mexico. Our import rules page explains what to expect, and we walk through the specific plan for your puppy before you commit.
Things to keep in mind
The compact Korean style is appealing, but the smallest and shortest-muzzled puppies need extra care: frequent meals, careful handling and attention to teeth and breathing. Ask honest questions about size and the parents' adult weights, and be wary of anyone who promises an exact adult weight.
Questions for your video call
- How old is the puppy and what does it weigh today?
- What do the parents weigh as adults, and can I see them?
- Can you show the face from the front and the side?
- Which vaccinations has the puppy had, and when is the next one due?
- How will the travel timing work with my country's import rules?
