Pomeranian Puppies for Sale in Portland, OR
If you're in Portland and have your heart set on a Pomeranian, start with a live video call. Pom Paradise works with a breeder network in South Korea, Canada and Mexico, shows you each puppy over WhatsApp, and arranges delivery to Portland and the rest of Oregon through Portland International (PDX).
How getting a Pomeranian puppy in Portland works
- Book a WhatsApp video call. Choose a time on our booking calendar. We call you from the breeder with the puppies on camera.
- Choose your puppy. Ask about parents, size expectations, temperament and health records. Exact pricing is confirmed per puppy.
- Travel preparation. Your puppy gets the vet exam, vaccinations, microchip and paperwork required for the trip. See our import rules guide for what applies to puppies coming from abroad.
- Arrival in Portland. Depending on where your puppy is coming from, we arrange an in-cabin flight nanny to Portland International (PDX) or ground delivery, and you get updates along the way.
About age: U.S. federal rules (CDC and USDA) require any dog entering the United States, including from Canada, to be at least 6 months old on arrival, with a microchip, vaccinations and an import permit for dogs sold. So puppies we bring into the U.S. from our breeders abroad are older puppies, fully vaccinated and past the most fragile baby stage. Details are in our import rules guide.
Video calls from Portland
All showings happen live on WhatsApp video, booked in your own time zone (PST). Seoul is 17 hours (16 during daylight saving time) ahead of Portland. A 7 pm call in Portland lands at 12 pm the next morning in Korea, which is why evening slots work well for seeing puppies from our Korean breeders. Puppies from our Canadian and Mexican breeders are easy to see during the day.
Raising a Pomeranian in Portland
Portland has cool, damp winters and mild summers. Cool, damp weather suits a Pomeranian's coat, though you'll want a towel by the door. Dry your puppy right down to the skin after wet walks, because a damp undercoat can lead to hot spots. Summers are mild and great for exploring.
